LOCATION: It is next to the Fragas do Eume Natural Park , one of the most charming landscapes in northern Galicia and also very close to some cities which are culturally and architecturally very interesting: Ferrol (20 Km), Betanzos (15 Km), Pontedeume (5 Km) and A Couña (25 Km). The Miño, Perbes a nd Cabanas beaches are 10 minutes away from our facilities.

HOW TO GET THERE: On the A-9 motorway, take the F-21 exit to Pontedeume, then take the N- 651 in Campolongo and continue towards Monfero. (See diagram).

FACILITIES: The hostel is on a plot of land of 50.000 m 2 . It is a building designed for groups of tourists, with 12 rooms for 2-5 people, two of them adpted for the disabled, with bathroom and heating. It is halfway between the forest and the valley, standing on terraces and hidden under the trees, as if a kind of hïding place and a nature observatory at the same time. Besides offering accomodation, the hostel is also a school for environmental research. It is built according to bioclimatic and ecological principles and it uses solar power. Morever, there are areas that can be enjoyed by everybody: a swimming pool, the dining room, a straw loft, sports ground, a site for traditional games and vast green spaces.

ACTIVITIES: For groups we offer workshops and activities on environmental research related to the Fragas do Eume Natural Park, the Eume historical heritage, hiking routes, renewable energy, the Atlantic coast and the reycling of rubbish and water.
